THE TIMELINE OF END TIMES - PART 1

Standing at the threshold of prophetic understanding, we're invited to explore a comprehensive timeline of end-time events that Scripture reveals with remarkable clarity. This journey begins not with spectacular signs, but with a sobering reality: ongoing apostasy and societal deterioration. Drawing from 2 Timothy 3 and 4, we see predictions of difficult times where sound doctrine becomes increasingly unwelcome, replaced by teachings that tickle ears rather than transform hearts. Jesus himself compared the end times to the days of Noah and Lot—periods marked by spiritual indifference despite faithful preaching. Yet this sobering picture isn't meant to discourage us, but to prepare us. The second prophetic event offers breathtaking hope: the rapture of the church, described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 as our 'blessed hope' in Titus 2:13. This promise assures us that before God's wrath falls during the tribulation, Jesus will fulfill his commitment to rescue us, catching us up to meet him in the air. Following this glorious reunion comes the Bema Seat Judgment of Christ—not a determination of salvation or punishment for sin, but a rewards ceremony where our faithful service is honored. Five crowns await those who've allowed Christ to work through them: the incorruptible crown, crown of rejoicing, crown of life, crown of glory, and crown of righteousness. These aren't trophies for our ego, but gifts we'll joyfully cast at his feet in worship, glorifying him throughout eternity for what he's done in and through us.
